Safer communities can start before a fire: California makes law the measures that fast-tracked 500-plus prevention projects
Reported by gov.ca.gov
Publisher date:

California has enacted wildfire-prevention measures building on emergency actions that the governor’s office says fast-tracked more than 500 projects across nearly 130,000 acres. Making prevention easier to carry out gives communities more ways to address wildfire risk before disaster strikes, although faster projects are not yet evidence of fewer losses.
