Making a living by helping nature recover: restoration efforts have created more than a million green jobs
Some 252 million hectares of land and sea across 149 countries are under restoration, the largest documented effort of its kind, according to a joint UN report. That work has already created more than one million green jobs, although lasting ecological recovery requires sustained effort and substantially more funding.
